Pork and Cider

- 1 large onion
- 4 large pork chops
- 1 large cooking apple
- 250 ml cider
directions
- Peel and chop the onion.
- Put the onion in the bottom of a large casserole.
- Put the chops on the top.
- Peel the apple, discarding the seeds and core.
- Slice the apple and spread over the chops.
- Add the cider.
- Put the lid on the casserole.
- Cook for two hours at 150°F, 300°F, Gas mark 2.
- Serve with rice and salad or potatoes and green vegetable.
