  1. Made this and thought it was pretty darn good. I had just thawed out the chops and cooked em up right away. Next time I think I'll let them sit in the beer for a day to let the flavor soak in before I cook them.

  2. I enjoyed these, but did take note of previous reviews, and added seasoning to the flour, along with onions to the sauce, which I felt probably helped. The pork was fabulously moist though!

  3. These were okay, but I wasn't very impressed. It had a strange flavor. Perhaps my dried thyme has gone off. I'll try this again in the future and see if that's what was wrong.

  4. I made some changes, but loved the results so you get 5 stars from me. I added salt & pepper to the flour to dredge the pork chops. Added an onion & garlic along with the mushrooms and mixed a can of cream of mushroom soup with the cup of beer. I did this in an electric skillet and turned it way down and simmered about 35-45 minutes. Terrific taste and very tender chops. DH declared this one a hit. Thank you!!!

  5. This is great comfort food. I think it would benefit from some seasoning before flouring, and some thickening of the sauce. I used a light beer, and the beer flavor was not too strong at all. I cooked mine a bit longer and it probably could have simmered even longer to get more tender. We really liked the thyme/mushroom addition. Thanks for sharing this one, Jessica K.
