  1. These pork chops were very tasty and so moist. I baked them at 400 degrees for about 15 to 20 minutes only because after 45 minutes I realized that I did not turn the oven on. Even my picky husband said these are a keeper so they are now. Gabby

  2. I did add garlic and onion powder to the bread crumb mixture, DH's favorite! I used a cast iron DO so one pan went from stove top to oven. Easy and quick. Thanks

  3. These were nice and tasty even though I over cooked them. My half-inch chops were a bit dry after baking at 350 for 30 minutes. Next time I'll check them sooner. Thanks for the easy recipe... can't wait to try it again.

  4. I used Italian seasoned breadcrumbs and added a little parmesan cheese. Very good recipe!

  5. This was so simple, yet tender and delicious. Seasoned the chops (boneless loin chops) instead of seasoning the breadcrumbs (used Italian breadcrumbs) and used olive oil instead of shortening, then followed instructions. These had a great flavor and were so tender, yet sooo easy to do! Thanks for the great recipe.

Tweaks

  1. Deeeeeelicious!!!!!!! At the end instead of water, I used sour cream and some beef granules to pick up the bits (be careful as the granules are salty)... WOW!

  2. Such a simple recipe. Added some garlic powder to the breadcrumbs (I used Italian breadcrumbs as that is what I had) before I fried mine in oil instead of the shortening and did not pour the drippings over the chops before placing in the oven. They turned out so nice and tender. I think next time however, I will add more garlic powder or Mrs. Dash seasoning mix as I feel they need something to give them a bit more flavor. All in all though, a very good recipe.

  3. Perfect pork chops. I used seasoned bread crumbs so omitted salt and pepper. Instead of shortening used olive oil and added some chopped onions which carmelized beautifully. Didn't bother pouring water etc over instead cooked in skillet on stove top then covered the same skillet for the baking.
