  • Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Brown in a skillet with olive oil over MEDIUM heat until cooked through (about 6 minutes per side, depending on thickness of the pork chops). Medium heat will ensure the outside gets brown and crusty while the center cooks thoroughly.
  • Remove pork chops to a separate plate, and add onions. Cook over medium heat until onions are caramelized (about 10-15 minutes), stirring frequently.
  • Add remaining ingredients and stir to combine. Let the sauce thicken over medium-low heat for about 5-10 minutes.
  • Return the pork chops to the sauce just to heat through, and serve.
