  • Carefully saute pork & onions in the oil until browned.
  • Add the broth, salt, pepper & ginger, & stir to combine.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover & simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Add fruits & simmer, covered 20 minutes longer, or until pork is fork-tender.
  • Meanwhile, cook the rotini according to the directions on the box.
  • Serve the pork & fruit over hot pasta.

  1. Made with egg noodles. I liked it well enough but the rest of the family was not impressed. Thanks for an interesting change of pace.
     
  2. Ver interesting pasta dish. I'm not so sure how much I liked the mixture of apples with pasta... But it was a great change from the everyday pasta dish. If I make this again I think I may leave out the apples but keep the other fruits.
     
  3. I found pre-cut pork at WalMart and used green onions instead of two small onions. Nice flavors but this didnt work well for my family. I think it was a little to sweet for them. I enjoyed the prunes and apricots a lot with the pork.
