Directions

  1. Saute onion in lard.
  2. Add pork, caraway seed, paprika, salt and pepper, brown well.
  3. Add 1/2 cup water and simmer in a covered pan until tender (approximately 1 hour.)
  4. Sift the flour lightly over the meat juices and stir until brown.
  5. Add the remaining 1 1/2 cups water and simmer 10-20 minutes.
  6. Delicious with rice or dumplings.
