  1. FANTASTIC!! Hubby claims this is the best pork he has ever had - and I have been told to put it to the top of my cooking list. Thanks for sharing.

  2. This was fantastic, and easy!! I cooked it both time in my crock pot, on low for about 6 hours. I also cut the pairs up a bit, so they weren't big chunks. I omitted the wine, only because I didn't have any on hand, and I used a 1/2 tsp of ginger powder because that's what I had. Everyone loved it, even my kids. The "sauce" tastes great poured over some brown rice on the side. I'll keep making this one!

  3. This was very good and easy. I used 1-inch thick rib chops. I did omit the cranberries because I didn't have any. The sauce was wonderful. The meat very tender and the pears gave it another dimension, not just another pork chop recipe. Thanks for posting. I made this for Photo Tag,2009.

  4. Smelled absolutely wonderful while cooking. DH kept asking what I was making...I said "pork"...I like suspense. My pork was a little too thin so I stopped it an hour in and it was already overcooked a bit. May try to cook on stove top in a covered cast iron pan and just watch it. May tenderize it and marinate it overnight too. Thanks for sharing, it's a keeper.

  5. This is soooo yummy! My husband has been asking for me to make it again almost since he put down his fork after having it the first time! Definitely a keeper. The balsamic with the cranberries and onions is delicious.
