  • Chop onion into 1/2 inch pieces.
  • Saute in olive oil until transparent and barely golden 15 minutes.
  • Let cool.
  • Add all ingredients including cooled onions in order suggested by bread machine.
  • Process according to manual directions.

  1. Este e um pao humido muito denso. This is a very dense moist bread. I did not use an ABM . I had to add just a touch more water to get the dough to come together and then a bit more flour . I think next time I will cut back on the amount of onions ( I used 1medium sized Spanish onion and a medium regular ) I loved the flavour of all the onion. I think the leftovers will make a delicious garlic bread. Made for ZWT 5 Spain/Portugal region for team Zaar Chow Hounds
