ingredients
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 1⁄4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
- 1⁄4 cup rice, Cooked
- 3 tablespoons yellow cornmeal
- 1⁄2 cup water
directions
- Chop onion into 1/2 inch pieces.
- Saute in olive oil until transparent and barely golden 15 minutes.
- Let cool.
- Add all ingredients including cooled onions in order suggested by bread machine.
- Process according to manual directions.

Este e um pao humido muito denso. This is a very dense moist bread. I did not use an ABM . I had to add just a touch more water to get the dough to come together and then a bit more flour . I think next time I will cut back on the amount of onions ( I used 1medium sized Spanish onion and a medium regular ) I loved the flavour of all the onion. I think the leftovers will make a delicious garlic bread. Made for ZWT 5 Spain/Portugal region for team Zaar Chow Hounds
