ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 lbs boneless country-style ribs, see in description for an alternate meat
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon seasoning salt (adjust to your own tastes)
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1⁄8 cup bacon grease

Gravy Ingredients
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can Campbell's Golden Mushroom soup
- 1 pkg.onion soup mix
- 1 teaspoon oregano
directions
- In a medium sized bowl combine all gravy ingredients and set aside.
- In a large gallon size plastic zipper type bag,combine flour,seasoned salt,pepper and shake well to combine.
- Place meat into bag and shake well to coat pieces.
- Heat grease until hot but not smoking, and cook meat until lightly browned on all sides.
- Put half of meat into crockpot, and top with half of gravy mixture.
- Top with rest of meat and gravy mixture.
- Cook for 5 hours on low.

I used 4 bone in pork chops. I am a fan of using bacon grease when I can, not much but enough so there is "country" taste. I did cut back on the onionsoup mix because of the salt but added more dried chopped onions. This is a wow recipe for the crockpot. I will cook again using boneless country pork. Thanks!
