  • Gently dissolve gelatin in warm water. Purée the mango flesh. Add the cream, sour cream, lime juice, and gelatin to the mangoes. Process or blend. Add the honey to desired sweetness.
  • Pour into serving bowl and chill. Serve garnished with thin slices of lime and mango.

  1. I also used milk in place of the heavy cream and sweetener in place of honey. The dessert turned out nicely! Not so sweet, tangy and kinda mousse-like. I wasn't so fond of the texture but the taste was yum. Thanks :)
     
  2. This was REALLY good! I substituted Splenda for the honey, milk for the heavy cream, and fat-free cream cheese for the sour cream (realized I was all out of sour cream at the very last minute!). Definitely will make again. Even using milk, it was nice and creamy. Next time I'll make sure I have sour cream!
