- Preheat oven to 180deg celcuis and grease a large metal baking dish.
- slice potatoes into thin slices, arrange some on the bottom of a large baking dish.
- add some diced bacon and mushrooms along with a sprinkle of salt and pepper and repeat till dish is full with a potato layer on top.
- pour cream over top of potatoes and sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake for 45min to 1 hour, test with a fork to make sure potatoes are cooked. If top becomes too brown whilst cooking cover with foil.
