  1. I know that this recipe has a great potential to be fabulously delicious but I tried it and found that the cookies don't hold together. I am an experienced cook and found it odd that there wasn't even an egg or something to use as a binder. It's hard to form the cookies as they are too crumbly and they don't improve with baking. I'm going to try it again with one egg in the dough.

  3. Quick, easy, fun. This taste like the recipe I lost 25 years ago. They were a hit. Thank you.

  4. These are EXCELLENT. Melt in your mouth goodness. However, don't be a dope like me and realize after several failed attempts, that you need 1/2 LB. of butter or margarine instead of 1/2 CUP!

  5. Mmmm, unusual but VERY YUMMY cookies! They are buttery rich with a slight crunch from the potato chips and a unique only slightly salty flavour. Like a really good shortbread! The dough was relatively easy to work with, but I had to add 1 additional tbs of flour so as to be able to form it into cookies. I made half the recipe and ended up with 10 nicely sized cookies. I dont like things too sweet so I cut the sugar in half, which was still plenty for me. THANKS so much for sharing this lovely treat with us, caramel! I will surely make this recipe again!

Hi there. I finally decided to give a little "how do ya do" about me. I am a new mum...well she's almost a year now and she is the love of my life. I love her a bunch. I love the zaar. My fave cookbook is probably Bakers Best Chocolate cookbook, uma casa portuguesa, and Pillsburys complete cookbook. I love all things caramel...so if you have something with it, post it.
