Directions

  1. Place apples in greased 12x7 inches baking dish. Sprinkle with the sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, and butter (and a little oatmeal, optional). I added a little oatmeal, maybe 1/4 cup or less. Sprinkle over apple mixture.
  3. Bake 350 for 40-45 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm or at room temp, with cream if desired.
