Prazdroj Goulash

"This is a Czech goulash made with a pilsner. Very aromatic and rich. Can be served over egg noodles or mashed potatoes, and a nice bread."

  1. We host exchange students from the Czech Republic. This recipe is the one meal which is requested again and again. It is always a favorite with our boys and this gulas tastes just like the version I had in Prague. Fantastic!

  2. We all really enjoyed this dish. My family went to Prague last summer, and this dish seems fairly close to the goulash we had while there. We added dumplings to it to get more of an authentic Czech taste. The only thing some of us didn't care for was the "bite" given to it by the pilsner. We counteracted this by putting some sour cream out, which some people mixed it into their goulash, eliminating the aftertaste from the beer. Overall, this was very good, and we would make it again. Thanks for the recipe!
