Primal Donut Holes

"I kind of think that "primal baking" is an oxymoron, BUT these are really good, and much healthier than your conventional donut holes. Coconut flour can be a bit dense/dry, so make sure to really not add more than the recipe calls for."

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Mix palm sugar, melted butter, nutmeg, vanilla extract, and salt in a bowl.
  • Mix in the egg.
  • Sift in coconut flour and mix well.
  • Set dough in fridge for 10 minutes to set. Lightly butter a glass baking dish.
  • Roll dough into 1" balls. Set balls in dish and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Let donut holes cool and then roll in more palm sugar, cocoa, cinnamon, coconut, etc.
