Very easy recipe with lots of potential. Nearly everything that is included in the ingredients is stuff any household would have on hand (minus protein powder). I switched out the buttermilk for coconut milk. The 1st batch was very dense and a little gritty. I just soaked the oats in just enough coconut milk (or whatever fluid you'd like) to cover them for 20 min and the next batch came out great. Use this as a basic recipe and tweak it to your needs. I'm trying sweet potato and pecan version next.
