  • stir together dry ingredients, mix in wet.
  • Bake in foil lined, greased 9x9 inch pan at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.
  • Remove from pan when slightly cool, score into bars.
  • Store in tightly sealed bag or container.

  1. Very easy recipe with lots of potential. Nearly everything that is included in the ingredients is stuff any household would have on hand (minus protein powder). I switched out the buttermilk for coconut milk. The 1st batch was very dense and a little gritty. I just soaked the oats in just enough coconut milk (or whatever fluid you'd like) to cover them for 20 min and the next batch came out great. Use this as a basic recipe and tweak it to your needs. I'm trying sweet potato and pecan version next.
