Directions

  1. Mix together first 6 ingredients.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Mix sugar, oil, buttermilk, eggs and vanilla.
  4. Stir dry mixture into the wet mixture.
  5. Fold in nuts and prunes.
  6. Grease a tube pan and line with parchment paper.
  7. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
  8. Cool for 15 minutes and remove from pan.
  9. Mix glaze ingredients together and cook over medium heat.
  10. Stir constantly until glaze turns a caramel color.
  11. Pour over cake.
