  1. Very thick batter. Lots of sugar. But.. it did rise and the top turned out with a crisp sugar crust. Cook too long and that sugar will burn. Dont cook long enough and that thick batter wont cook. Turned out ok for needing something fast when i was out of eggs and milk! I might tweak and make again.

  2. Great recipe! I changed it a bit and used 2 cups of brown sugar instead of 3.5 cups of white sugar. Baked it in 9×13 grrased glass dish. It turned out perfectly since we didn't want it to be too sweet. Great texture. Thanks for sharing!

  3. I took previous reviewers suggestions and added apple sauce I used one of those individual cups unsweetened all natural. I also added a little pinch extra baking powder. Instead of loaf pans I put in 9x13 pan came out perfect and moist love this recipe. Photo below

  4. Will give stars when all is cooled and tried. Confused though, because it says to divide into 3 loaf or bread pans. This was so thick and dry a batter that I filled 1 pan 1/2 way and 10 cupcake papers. So hoping it's good. Love the idea of it.

  5. Wow! Very moist and delicious. I agree with previous reviewer on adding less sugar. Added about two cups for two loaves.
