  • Preheat oven 375.
  • Combine pumpkin, sugar, oil and eggs.
  • Dissolve the baking soda in the 2 teaspoons of milk.
  • Add the dissolved baking soda and vanilla.
  • Stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Add to pumpkin mixture and mix well.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Drop by teaspoons on a lightly greased sheet.
  • bake about 10-12 minutes.

  2. VERY NICE TASTING! Don't know how one can go wrong with these great cookies! The only change I made was to use dark chocolate instead of semi-sweet, but the result was a wonderful-tasting pumpkiny cookie! I'd cut the recipe in half, but next time ~ & there WILL be a next time, & a another after that ~ I'll be making the full batch, 'cause they disappeared quickly! Many thanks for posting this great recipe!
     
  3. I'm not sure what the first reviewer meant by "too much pumpkin". I had some pumpkin puree that I needed to use up and made these last night. They were very good and my family kept asking "why" these were different than our normal recipe. The cinnamon and pumpkin gave these cookies a nice kick and a very good texture. Thanks Becca Boo....I'll be making these again.
