These were very good! We have to substitute rice milk for regular milk which in turn we had to add more flour (not poster's fault at all). I do wish they were a little sweeter on their own (since I don't like syrup) but the kids gobbled them up regardless! Next time I'll just pump up the sweetness slightly and we'll have it down perfect. Thank you for the recipe!

Wonderful! I had pumpkin pancakes last week on vacation and declared I would figure out the recipe--I am a pumpkin lover. Of course I looked on Zaar before attempting it myself and I'm so glad I did! This recipe tasted and looked exactly like what I had in the restaurant. My only addition was flax seed meal, which I add to almost everything with flour in it, for the fiber and omega-3's. Served with whipped cream and a little cinnamon sugar sprinkled on top these are fantastic!! The recipe makes a BIG batch--in my house it would serve 6 at least. Thanks for the recipe!!

An event planner by profession, and a life-long foodie wanna-be who loves to make people happy by feeding them things that make their eyes light up. I'm an empty-nester who enjoys nothing more than cooking for family and friends. When those are not available, my dogs make EXCELLENT and enthusiastic Guinea pigs for testing new recipes. Not surprisingly, I've found that the German Shorthaired Pointers have much more discriminating palates than do the Goldens, who would eat anything -and I mean ANYTHING- that wasn't nailed down (and some things that were). They are all convinced that I'm a gourmet chef, however they're a pretty easy audience.
