Ingredients Nutrition

  • 2 uncooked pie shells
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 12 cups milk
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 12 cup onion, finely minced
  • 12 green pepper, finely minced
  • 1 cup ham, diced small
  • salt and pepper
  • 12 cup fine herbs (your choice of parsley,thyme,chives)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425.
  2. Slightly soften onion and peppers in the microwave for 1 minute.
  3. Beat eggs,milk and sour cream until well incorporated.
  4. Mix in remaining ingredients and pour into pie shells.
  5. I bake them on a cookie sheet in case of spillage.
  6. Bake at 425 for 10 minutes then reduce to 325 for 40 - 50 minutes or until set.
  7. Cool for 15-20 minutes before serving.
