ingredients

³⁄₄ cup flour
1 cup granulated sugar
¹⁄₃ cup cocoa powder
8 tablespoons softened margarine
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla or 1 teaspoon almond essence
3 tablespoons water
1 cup chopped almonds or 1 cup chopped peanuts

directions

Place all the ingredients (except nuts) in a large mixing bowl and mix until smooth. When finished add the nuts and stir.
Pour in a greased rectangular pan 5x7 and place in pre - heated oven 350 degrees for approximately 30 - 40 minutes.
When cooled cut into desired sizes.
