  • Mix the butter and peanut butter in a large bowl.
  • Add confectioners sugar gradually, the dough will be stiff.
  • Knead small amounts of the dough at a time.
  • Roll into balls the size of large marbles.
  • Chill for 10 minutes.
  • Melt the chocolate bark.
  • Dip the balls into the chocolate bark.
  • Place on wax paper.
  • Let stand until 10 minutes or until firm.
  • Chill until serving time.

  1. I also scaled down the recipe by following a previous review and followed their advice. The snack turned out great! I love Reece's and this is a good fix for when I need my peanut butter and chocolate! I used some baking chocolate chips for my chocolate glaze --it was easy and yummy!
     
  2. These are fabulous!!! They taste EXACTLY like Reese's peanut butter cups only better!!!! I paired this down to really about 6 balls by starting with 1 TBSP butter and adding the peanut butter and confectioner's sugar to taste. I didn't think they were too sweet that way because I made them as sweet as I thought the Reese's cups taste. Then I melted a little bit of Scharffen Berger semisweet dark chocolate and drizzled it over the peanut butter balls and then chilled for around 10 minutes. Totally fast and easy recipe for a wonderful result!!! Thank you so much for the recipe!!
