  1. Great banana bread and so fast to put together using my Kitchenaid mixer. I had large eggs on hand, love cinnamon so that was a nice addition, used 3 ripe bananas, and chopped pecans. My bread didnt bake evenly on top so I had to put it back in the oven after an hour. Moist and delicious with a hint of cinnamon flavor in each bite. Will be making this again! Made and reviewed for Pick A Chef - Spring 2014.

I'm a retired nurse, still working one day a week. Married and have 3 children and 8 grandchildren who are the light of my life. My husband and I are active in church ministry and love to travel, go camping and fishing. I have an addiction to buying and reading cookbooks and recipes. Love to cook and bake. One of my favorite times of the week is Wednesday when I help in the soup kitchen at church. Nothing more fun than a bunch of men and women cooking and visiting while we feed hungry people.
