"Great home made flavor. Tastes like what you get in restaurants. I once had to make 10 of these for a family reunion!"

  1. This is a great recipe, I served it with Swedish meatballs, potato salad and rolls. Everyone enjoyed this pie. East too.

  2. This is the first time I have made a coconut pie. My husband loved it!!!!! So did I, it was easy to make. I made 1 recipe for a 9" graham cracker crust. I wanted more filling so I made a second batch and added to the first. This is definately a keeper. Thanks for sharing!!!!!

  3. YUM! I took a cue from other reviewers and added a little extra coconut, and it was perfect. I topped it with Recipe #74805 "Never Weep Whipped Topping." Everyone loved it!

  4. This pie was excellent. The filling was simple to make. I did use sweetened coconut and I thought that it had a wonderful coconut flavor. I only had 1 percent milk on hand, so I used a mixture of 1.5 cups of 1 percent milk and 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream. It was rich and delicious. I paired it with some homemade whipped topping and it turned out great. I will definitely make this again.

  5. Quick, easy and delicious. I lightly toasted the coconut before adding it. Thank you for the recipe. I'm not sure I can be trusted with the pie.

  2. My 7 yr old daughter wanted coconut cream pie since it is iCarly's favorite. Those with little ones understand I am sure. It was super easy to make but super hard to wait the 4 hours to wait to eat it. We only lasted 2.It still was set but probably wouldve been firmer after 4 hrs. I topped it with real whipped cream instead of cool whip and added toasted coconut. Definitly will make again and again and again. YUM! Thanks for sharing!

  3. I used fresh whipped cream instead of cool whip, but otherwise followed the recipe. Delicious and so easy.

  4. This was so easy to make. I was a little nervous about just throwing everything into the pot at once and cooking it, but it came out very smooth and creamy. The only change I made was to use fresh whipped cream instead of cool whip. My dad loved it. He said it was perfect! He ate two pieces after dinner and then took the rest of the pie home with him. Thanks for posting this. It's a keeper.

  5. This was an awesome pie! It was easy and tasted delicious. I used real whipping cream instead of cool whip and also added toasted coconut on top. It looked awesome and tasted even better. Thanks!!

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
