  • 2 lbs ground chuck
  • 1 (1 ounce) envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix (I change it up from Beefy Onion to Mushroom Onion or regular Onion-comes 2 envelopes to a box)

directions

  • Combine ingredients, taking care not to over mix. Add a tablespoon of water if need be. Make into 6 - 8 patties. Grill on outside grill. We use a gas grill at 300 degrees and cook time is about 10 minutes, flipping the burgers a couple of times. Eliminate excessive grease by pressing the burgers after each flip. Add cheese of your choice or none at all -- serve hot on hamburger buns or eat just plain.

  1. This certainly easy to make and my family enjoyed them. I mixed this up and let it sit about an hour before cooking them. I made them on the grill. The soup gave a nice flavor to the burger. I got 8 burgers.
