Quick Pancake Topping

"I am not a maple syrup lover and refuse to buy the fake stuff. I like to make my own topping. This is quick and good. Instead of PB, you can use Kit's recipe#122218."

  1. Very tasty! It was a bit runny, but the flavor was delicious! I used pineapple-apricot preserves. Thanks!

  2. I wasn't sure about this at first but decided to give it a try and I absolutely LOVE this topping!! I will probably never use syrup on my pancakes or waffles again! Simple yet creative. Thank you for posting!

  3. What agreat idea. I used 1/2 tblsp peanut butter as I didn't want that to dominate & used this as a topping over some croissant bread pudding, so simple & tasty, thanks!

I am a Christian wife and mother of 3 kids. Since my DH's high cholesterol, we've been eating better. I never used to like cooking. Since eating better, I've liked learning and preparing new recipes. My kids haven't reconciled themselves to the new eating yet. I grind my own grain and make all my own breads.?Working 2 hours a day in the local high school lunch room.??I am homeschooling my high schooler.? ?Also found out 1 child has multiple food allergies (wheat, dairy, tomato, chocolate, etc) and another is gluten sensitive. So, we just started (July 09) eating gluten and dairy free. I've been busy with getting our house market ready, even though it's not the best time for that.?
