  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease cookie sheets lightly.
  3. In a large bowl mix butter, shortening, egg yolks and vanilla extract.
  4. Thoroughly blend in cake mix 1/3 at a time until well blended.
  5. Fill cookie press and press as usual.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool on cookie sheets and remove to wire rack.
