- 2 tablespoons rum
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
directions
- Melt altogether until runny in a glass dish or small jug in microwave. Takes about 1/2 minute on high depending on wattage of your oven.
- To serve over bananas:.
- Peel & slice lengthways 1 or 2 bananas and fry in a little butter (both sides) until hot.
- Place in a dish and pour over sauce.

I was needing a quick and easy rum sauce for Aunt Emma's Bread Pudding #17752 that didnt require powdered sugar since I was out and this recipe is wonderful!!! I used 4 tbsp gold rum, 8 tbsp brown sugar and 4 tbsp of butter. The flavors were wonderful together. Made it more of a butter rum sauce. Thank you for posting. Will use this many more times!
