ingredients
- 2 1⁄2 cups whole wheat flour
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
- 3 cups milk or 3 cups buttermilk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 4 cups raisins, floured
directions
- sift together dry ingredients.
- add milk, eggs and raisins.
- pour into 3 well greased loaf pans. Let stand 15 minutes.
- Bake @ 350 degrees F for 35 - 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
