¹⁄₂ cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup apple juice (or cider)
¹⁄₂ cup seedless raisin
1 tablespoon butter

directions

In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar and cornstarch. Blend in apple juice; stir until smooth. Cook, stirring constantly, until clear and thick. Add raisins; cook 10 minutes to plump raisins. Just before serving, stir in butter.
