Randy's Famous Margarita

"The secret is the amaretto. We made 7 different versions of the same margarita to find the perfect flavors. . .it was a fun day to say the least! We juiced our own limes and oranges which I highly recommend."

  1. What a great margarita! Really enjoyed the amaretto in it.....first time I've ever used it in a margarita....and no salt on the rim! Thanks for sharing!

  2. I thought this margarita was awesome! I love amaretto so it was just right for my tastes. I made myself one big, fat margarita - and didn't even share!

  3. This recipe has 7 (!) ounces of booze in it, too much for me, so I modified it heavily, using2 ounces of tequila and 1 ounce of the other 2, reduced the 4 ounces of lime juice to one, eliminated the sugar and filled my tall glass with ginger ale... and enjoyed it *very* much!
