1. I forgot to rate this. Sorry. It is easy quick and makes a nice size cake. Everyone at work loved it.

 2. Well, I woke up early this morning, about 3 a.m. and couldn't go back to sleep. Finally around 4 a.m. I decided to try this. I didn't have any raspberry perserves, but I did find some very old pineapple-apricot preserves. I gave it a try and I'm gald I did. It was very good. I'd like to try it again with maybe 2 kinds of perserves, like apricot or strawberry for half the pan and raspberry for the other half. Anyway, I thought it was very good, and it had a nice texture. It was a great way to start the day. Thank you.

 3. Easy to make the night before. I copied the recipe and placed next to the dish. I was proud to say it was mine!

I recently celebrated my 19th anniversary living in SW Florida. I moved here from Massachusetts, just north of Boston. As much as I miss family back home, I truly love living here - the beaches, the tropical beauty, the people, and the weather (except the hurricanes!). Everyday is just another day in Paradise. I work at the new international airport here in Fort Myers. I have an opportunity to meet many different and interesting people from around the world. I've had an interest in cooking since I was a little boy, following my grandmother around the kitchen. Since I wasn't blessed with any artistic or musical talent, I think cooking was my way of being creative. My passion is my family and friends. My second passion is cooking for them. My favorite way to entertain is informally...brunches, cookouts, and small dinner parties. Just relaxing, enjoying each other's company, some good food and drink, and a little fun are the only rules of the house.
