  1. This definitely was a more dangerous drink than it tasted. I didn't have raspberry vodka so I added raspberry juice. No mint don't care for it. I have never had a long island iced tea but was surprised there was no tea in this drink. Made for Summer Comfort Cafe.

  2. This got mixed reveiws in our household. I thought it was pretty good, DD didn't like it at all and DH thought it was just OK. I adapted ingredients to try this without spending a fortune on specialty spirits. I added fresh lime, raspberries, and mint and muddle them together before adding regular spirits. After trying it, I added a little raspberry syrup and more lemon juice. Overall it had a nice balance of flavor butI didn't care for the aftertaste of the mint, even though it was fairly light - I'm just not that fond of mint in drinks. I know the cola is for color, but it also seemed out of place, if trying this again I would skip it and use plain seltzer. Be warned this doesn't taste nearly as strong as it is : ) Thanks Rita for sharing an interesting recipe. Made for the Comfort Cafe July 09
