- 10 ounces frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained
- 1⁄4 cup chopped onion
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup swiss cheese, grated
- 1 cup milk
- 8 ounces vermicelli, uncooked
directions
- Sauté broccoli with onion and garlic salt in butter or margarine in a large skillet until tender, but not brown. Add soup, cheese and milk. Heat and stir until cheese melts. Cook Vermicelli according to package directions: drain. Lightly toss Vermicelli with cheese and broccoli sauce. Serves 4 to 6.
