  • 4 cups sugar
  • 4 tablespoons corn syrup (light or dark, your preference)
  • 14 ounces condensed milk
  • 1 (14 ounce) can water, use milk can
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 12 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 -6 cups pecan halves, depends on how pecan like you want em

Directions

  1. Mix sugar, corn syrup, condensed milk, and water thoroughly. Cook over a low fire until the soft-boil stage, it'll say on your candy thermometer. Remove from heat.
  2. Add butter, vanilla, and pecans. Beat until the mixture holds its shape. Spoon onto buttered wax paper, and allow to cool. Enjoy!
