Real Irish Soda Bread

"So many weird soda bread recipes out there. Rest assured that this one is the standard REAL one from Ireland. It is posted on the back of our equivalent of King Arthur flour, Odlums. You can add a handful of sultanas (golden raisins) for a fruit version. Simple, tried, tested and true."

  1. I love soda bread and made this as part of Virtual Culinary Cruise:British Isles & Ireland. It was great along side the other dishes I made and was really simple to put together. I will be making it again and adding the dried fruit for the sweet bread next time. Thanks for posting.
