Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 quart nonfat yogurt (plain, nonfat, Greek strained yogurt makes it really rich)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 12 cup unsweetened Dutch-processed cocoa powder
  • 18 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. In bowl or food processor, combine all ingredients until sugar dissolves.
  2. Note: You can start with less sugar, and then just add sugar to taste until it's as sweet as you want it to be.
  3. Refrigerate until very cold -- at least four hours, or up to two days.
  4. Transfer to ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
