  • Put the Kidney Beans in a food processor and pulse them until they look roughly chopped.
  • Add the diced onion and pulse again.
  • Add the oats, pepper and salt and pulse again or low setting.
  • Add the eggs and process until the mixture looks a bit like a rough paste.
  • Divide the mixture into 12 and roll in the four making sure that they are properly covered.
  • Dust off the excess flour and form into patties.
  • Heat oil in frying pan make sure that the oil is hot and cook the patties in batches 2 to 3 minutes on each side until brown.
  • Place on kitchen paper towels to take off excess oil.
