It keeps in the frig. for over a month & all my kids (even the junk food junkie) loves it. You can add raisins or other goodies if desired. Directions

  1. Cream sugar, shortening and eggs.
  2. Add milk and water, then beat.
  3. Add both bran cereals (buds and flakes) & beat.
  4. Blend together flour, soda, & salt, then add to bran mixture.
  5. Refrigerate overnight.
  6. Before using, stir to mix in all dissolved bran.
  7. Fill muffin tins 3/4 full.
  8. Bake @ 400, 20 to 25 minute or 425, 15 to 20 minute.
  9. Keep batter in refrigerator ready for use in the morning. Keeps about one month.
