Refrigerator Pickles

"This is from a family reunion cookbook. It's very easy and quick to make. The pickles are crisp and tasty. I use a glass gallon jar, and put plastic wrap under the lid, then shake it up. When the sugar is dissolved the pickles are ready! Enjoy! : )"

  • Use a 1 gallon jar or other glass container of desirable size. Wash and slice equal amounts of cucumbers and onions into jar. Don’t peel cucs. Add a couple green peppers cut into strips. Combine and pour over the cucs, onions and peppers the sugar, vinegar, celery seed, mustard seed and pickling salt. Refrigerate. No Cooking Required!

I am a stay at home Mom, with 2 boys ages 14 and 7. My oldest is disabled, hense the reason I stay at home. I homeschool my boys. I have had a problem with gluten for the last year. I love that you can download others off the internet. Plus make your own and when I find a recipe on Recipe Zaar, I also add it to my cookbook program, also vice versa, I'm trying to put my favorite recipes on recipezaar, just in case. I am also an avid crafter, such as crocheting, embroidery, and knitting. I also love to read and play games on the computer.
