  2. I never bought sweet & sour mix and was glad to find this recipe. It tastes great like this. I used it in this margarita : recipe#235628 Thanks Marguerite :) Edited on June 15th : I tried it with cold water and splenda and it is perfectly the same and less calories.

I have always just purchased sweet and sour mix, as I used to have a fave, which I can no longer find...This is wonderful, inexpensive, and I can make it to suit myself, with a bit more or less of the 'simple syrup' mix. I don't think I have to worry about looking at the store anymore! Thanks for posting, Marguerite214.
     
  5. Excellent in margaritas! We leave out the food coloring. Very simple and natural. I'll never be able to drink a commercial mix without turning up my nose. Thanks!
