1. Being a RI born native, spending all 38 of my years living here I have a CPL issues with this post... First coffee milk is not a breakfast staple in RI more of a state drink that is actually more associated with another RI only staple, hot weiners! Ask any one born here and they will tell you that hot weiners ( a hot dog w an awesome meat sauce mustard onions and celery salt ... Known as " all the way" on a steamed bun) is accompanied by a giant styrofoam cups of coffee milk bought w them. And is more of a late night get out of the club need food kind of meal then a breakfast staple. We have so many other amazing breakfast foods here that are actually food then drink ie Johnny cakes. Coffee milk is a drink enjoyed any time in RI w any meal by most kids who grew up here. So my review is only three stars because I feel had the writer done a little bit of research on RI it would of been clear that this is a "staple drink" in RI not a breakfast food.

 2. This used to be my absolute favorite as a kid!! I grew up in southern MA right near RI, so a lot of the foods are the same. We too used to use Autocrat syrup to make these. Even better than chocolate milk. Thanks for taking me back to my childhood! :)

 3. Am I missing something? How do you make the syrup?

 4. This is great! I remember when I was a little girl spending summers at my aunt and uncles cottage in Indiana, and this reminds me of how my uncle always took his coffee. It was like 2 tbsp of coffee and the rest milk. We always thought it was funny that he even called it coffee. Thanks ~Laury~ for bringing back the memories.

 5. Love this stuff, I could live on it. I learned about Autocrat syrup when I was in RI for my brother's wedding and have had it every day since. Autocrat has another coffee syrup on their website that they say isn't as sweet if your taste is similar to Annacia's.

I am a married woman living in Florida. I have had to retire caused by extremely severe rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia. The disabilities also make it impossible for me to cook. I often drop what is in my hand and I can't stand up for more than about 10 minutes. I love reading recipes and finding new food web sites to share. I used to be doing the cookbooks and other things. I have had to stop because I was too exhausted.

.
