Rhubarb Upside Down Cake

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 (18 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 3 eggs (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 13 cup oil (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 1 13 cups water (or as called for by your cake mix)
  • 12 cup brown sugar
  • 34 cup white sugar
  • 4 cups rhubarb (chopped)

Directions

  1. Grease a 9 x 13 cake pan with butter or use release spray.
  2. Prepare cake mix as directed on package.
  3. Sprinkle brown sugar on bottom of buttered pan.
  4. Put cut up rhubarb on top of brown sugar then sprinkle white sugar on top of rhubarb.
  5. Pour mixed cake mix batter on top of rhubarb sugar mix.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees according to cake mix box directions. When firm to touch remove from oven.
  7. Cool for 5-10 minutes then flip over onto serving plate.
