I am in my mid 70's - joints sure feel like it - inside I feel much like I did in my 20's. I was born just outside London but now live in a part of England known as East Anglia. That is the lump on the R.H. side of the map that sticks out into the North Sea. I actually live in the most easterly point in the UK. My daughter lives in Scotland and my son lives in South Africa. I suppose my favourite cook book is Mrs. Beeton, very old as she lived in the late 1800's but her basic recipes are still very relevant today. Favourite occupation, now that I am retired is reading, I like most books and can quite happily read cookery books until I drool. I also like crosswords and wont go to bed until I have finished the one in my daily newspaper. Pet peeves include politicians who just don't live in the real world.
