Rice & Pea's from My House to Yours!

"This is my familys favorite rice dish. It goes great with Jamaican Pot Roast, Roasted Pork or Chicken. You can combine your beans if you like, we like to use a combination of dry pigeon peas, black eyed peas and red kidney beans, what ever is on hand."

  1. This was so yummy. I did have a habenero so just used a chipolte chili powder for some heat. Easy to make and just simple enought to compliment if you want it as a side to a very hot spicy meal yet good enough to have all on its own. Made for Photo Tag

  2. It was really good. A combination that I would have never thought off. Followed the recipe step by step, no changes. Actually, I'm lying, I used black beans instead of black eye peas.

I am a very lucky lady. I recently moved to a very small town in New Brunswick, Canada with my wonderful husband who is my best friend. Very fortunate to have a cherished son, wonderful daughter in law and adorable granddaughter and cute wee grandson. We are very blessed. A big thank you to everyone that has made my recipes... hope you enjoyed them.
