  1. In a bowl, cut butter into cake mix until crumbly.
  2. Add egg and mix well.
  3. Press into a greased 13x9 inch baking pan.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar.
  5. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until smooth.
  6. Spread evenly over crust.
  7. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
  8. Reduce heat to 325; bake 10 minutes longer.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar while warm.
  10. Cool to room temperature before cutting.
