  1. Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla together.
  2. Beat eggs well.
  3. Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture alternatively with beaten eggs.
  4. Chill one hour.
  5. Mold with cookie press or drop from teaspoon and flatten with a glass covered with a damp towel.
  6. Bake 425°F for 7 minutes.
