"I haven't tried this yet, but I have been looking for a white chocolate frosting recipe that doesn't require cream cheese or whipping cream. Found this at Cooks.com. Crossing my fingers!"

ingredients

4 ounces white chocolate
³⁄₄ cup powdered sugar
¹⁄₄ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla

directions

Melt chocolate.
blend in confectioners' sugar, salt and butter, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating thoroughly after each.
Stir in vanilla.
(For more, use 1 cup confectioners' sugar and 4 tablespoons hot water.).
