- oil
- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 16 ounces mushrooms, cut into large pieces
- seasoning salt
- pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon dried basil
- 4 cups chicken stock
- 1 cup marsala wine
- 1⁄4 cup white wine
- 4 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 lb rigatoni pasta
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated
directions
- Saute onions in oil.
- Add garlic, balsamic vinaigrette, mushrooms, salt & pepper. Saute until mushrooms are slightly cooked down.
- Add stock, Marsala, and white wine. Simmer and cook down until roughly half. ~1 hours.
- Gradually add cream and Parmesan cheese. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer.
- Cook rigatoni until according to directions. Drain.
- Add mushroom mixture to rigatoni.
